  1. C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files
    or
you can find it in IE by going to the following place
Tools, Internet Options, Click on the Settings button on the General Tab, Click on View Objects.
  2. Then Right click on MSN Chat Control and select Remove

If you have problems with the Chat options in MSN/Windows Messenger you have to download the plug-in off of the messenger website.

I need an old version of Internet Explorer

You can download an archive of all old web browsers from the Browsers Evolt web site. http://browsers.evolt.org.  Also I have links to some old browsers on my downloads page.

Outlook 2002 XP and Outlook Express Attachments blocked

There are two levels of attachment security. Access to level 1 files is blocked and can't be changed. When you receive an attachment with a level 2 file type, you will be prompted to save the file to your hard disk. If you use Microsoft Exchange Server, your administrator can add and remove file types for both levels of e-mail security. If a file type is added to both levels, it will be treated as a level 1 file type.

Outlook Express 6.0 and up Unblocking File Attachments

Hate it when your friend sends you a program file to install and you can't open it, because it is blocked by Microsoft.  Here are the instructions to un block your file attachments.  If you need to unblock file attachments in Outlook 2002 XP then follow the instructions listed on this link.  Click Here.

  1. Open Outlook Express 6.0
  2. Click Tools
  3. Click Options
  4. Click Security Tab
  5. Uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"

Then everything should be fine again, but if you do open an e-mail with a virus and send it to all of your friends it isn't my fault.
